This week we have been focusing on Synonyms. A Synonyms a word that has the same meaning as another word. Eg. Big - Large, huge, gigantic. Using Synonyms in our writing can make our sentences more interesting. We used google dictionary to find word definitions and Synonyms then had to check that the new word made sense in the sentence.
Super work Miki! You tried hard to experiment with lots of new vocabulary. I really like your sentence 'Max made a miscalculation on his maths test.' - it is very powerful. Your next step is to try and use some of these words in your independent writing.
