Yesterday we had the student led conferences, For it I needed to tell my Dad, Mum and sister about work. At first I introduced my family to the teachers, and then I showed the work that I'd done this year. After that I showed my family this DLO, in each label (Reading, Maths, Writing, Inquiry) there are links that I wanted to show my family. After the Student led conferences finished my family told me that they enjoyed seeing my work.

Kiwi Sports
This week during Kiwi Sport we were learning more about passing and foot movement. Hamish taught us how to properly side step or spin to get away from defenders. He also told us that the easy way to do it is to focus on the feet move. I really enjoy playing Rippa Rugby.

Excellence and Innovation - Sir Edmond Hillary
As part of my C.A.R.E Awards I've decided to start working on my third excellence and innovation task. For this task I was to research a New Zealander who has shown excellence and innovation in their life. For this activity I chose Sir Edmond Hillary. I had lots of fun doing this because I learnt lots of facts about Sir Edmond Hillary, and also I saw one of his Ice Axes at the Auckland Museum.

Amount of young people attending to the Cinema
For this week I have created my second activity for the week. For this learning we were learning how to make an argument, "why young people are likely to go to the cinema." This DLO shows how young people are more likely to go to the cinema more than older aged people. As people go into the age of an adult they don't want to go to the cinema because they would rather stay home and be a normal person. They would rest at the home or they'd be busy. This learning I worked with my friend John.

Amount of the children
Today for Maths we were learning how to work out How many children in the classroom. For this problem I was using fractions. Then we were find out what age they were in and calculate it all together to find out students in the class room. It was easy to actually find the answer. This activity I worked with my friend John to complete this task.
