Tech Reflection

Today at Tech we made a vegetable pie. The hardest thing to make a Vegetable pie was cooking the onions because some people over cooked onions. Next time if I and making Vegetable pie I'll put more mixed vegetables because I like vegetables. For this cooking I worked with Fraidoon and today was the last Tech for this term.

Ingredients :

1/2 cup of Cheese
1/4 of Mixed vegetables
5 eggs
1/2 onion

Bake 180 degrees for 20 minutes.

Stormy Lighthouse Story

This week we were learning about Lighthouse and this is the one of the activities that I have done. For this learning I read the story about Stormy Lighthouse Story in France. The task was read the poem and answer the question using a own words. One of the thing that I learnt was this Lighthouse is 157 feet tall and (48 meters). 

Lighthouse - For Sale

This week we were creating a poster about Lighthouses for sale. I chose to find a lighthouse in United State of America. It costs $368,234.55 in NZ Dollars for this lighthouse. The good thing about this Lighthouse is that it has a one boat garage and they have 4 bed rooms. The bad thing about this Lighthouse is that you can't have a garden or build things around it . 

Matariki Festival

Today at our school we celebrate Matariki. Matariki is the Maori New Year. First we watched lots of the amazing dances, shows and singing . I think they did great job. Then Mrs Whaea Odie donate us a free sausages. I really enjoy celebrating Matariki because it was so great. 

Chicago Sports team presentation

Today we were creating a DLO about Chicago sports team. What I found out about one of the teams was they recorded all there victories since 6 years. I worked collaboratively with my group because we did the same amount of work and we all communicated. When one person was finished they would have to help the person that is not finished. We managed to finish this task. I worked with John, Mataio, Hajera and Chavda.

M&M's Research

This week for maths we were learning about M&M's. The hardest thing this task was finding true answer because some of the answers didn't have a same information so that means one of them is false. The most easiest thing was working as team because we didn't argue with each other for anything and every one contribute. For this learning I learnt that each packet don't have the same amount of color because I believe that the machine pours in the M&M's and doesn't sort it by colours. I also think that M&M's are very creative because the M&M's are covered by candy shell which will prevent it from melting. After we made our DLO everyone in my group checked each others work.  The thing that I found very fun in making this DLO was working collaboratively and talked to each other. We did this because we learn with and from each other. The group that I have worked collaboratively was John, Mataio, Chavda and Hajera.
