Pyeonchang 2018 Olympics - Snowboarding Halfpipe

This term we learnt about the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics. I worked collaboratively with San Kyaw to research and make notes about our presentation that tells you about the 2018 Snowboarding half pipe. We chose this sport because we thought it would be interesting to write about. The thing San Kyaw and I did great on was communicating to each other.

Reading - Skiing or Snowboarding

The second activity for reading I created a DLO that about skiing or snowboarding which is the best sport I want to try and I chose Skiing is best.

Reading - Snowboarding 10 Beginner Skills

1-Walk up hill

2-Roll Over

3-Stand Up

4-Strap Up

5-Skating.

6-One foot riding

7-Toe Slide

8-Heel slide

9-Board Straight

10- Turning.

I chose Walk uphill as the easiest because I think it easy to carry the snowboard with a foot.

I think turning is hardest because turning needs a lot of moves and balance.

Today for reading we were learning about Snowboarding. I learned Snowboarding has lots of skills we need to know. For this activity I worked with Junior. 

Pencilcode

For the Maths game I did Pencil code. This is my first time using the Pencil code but I manage to make a cool design. 

Finding the angles using the protractor

During Maths this week we were learning about how to use the protractor, we first needed to solve all of the questions on the paper. After that we then needed to make a DLO that shows how we solved the problems on the sheet using a protractor.

Read Theory and Reading

Today for reading our group are working on Read Theory. First I started from 1G/190L and now my average is 2.68G/474. I think Read Theory helps my reading test.
