Unity - Values

Today Mrs Anderson has started to teaching Learning Space Two about values that are missing from our class room. To expand our knowledge Mrs Anderson asked us to choose one of the values that we know already and make a DLO that will make it more clear to our global audience. Jeremiah and I worked together and we worked as equal partners to complete this work.

Kiwi Sports - Boxing

This term for Kiwi Sports we were learning about Boxing and it was our first session of boxing. First we did a worming up activity called touch the partners shoulder or knee. If you get touched one of them we need to do a burpee. Today we learnt two types of moves which is jab and cross. It was quite fun doing this learning. We also learnt that boxing is mostly about foot work not a arm work.

Tech Reflection

This week for Tech we finished our charity box. Today Mr Pineda which is our Tech teacher were not in the class room so Mr Mackenzie-Brown came and help us. For my charity box I wrote about Protect the tree, plant the tree and more.

Reading - Wheel Words

This week for reading we did a worm up game called wheel words. This activity helps us to learn new words or find new words. I manage to found 7/15 of 4 letter words, 3/7 of 6 letter words. 1/1 of 9 letter words.

Fraction Game

Today for math I played the game called Doggy Fraction game. I manage to came 1st place for five times in a low. The question that I need to answer were fractions. It was very hard to come first because the people playing this game were quite good.

Maths Problem

Today we played the Radius and Diameter game on Khad Academy and we were to make a DLO with three of the problems and explain how we solved the three questions. For one of the questions it says: If the radius is 7.5 what is the diameter. This was pretty easy because all you had to do was times 7.5 by 2. The answer was 15. There were 2 others that we explained in our DLO. If you don't know what the radius and the diameter is well the radius is half the circle and the diameter is times the radius.
